The nmrPipe converted raw, 2-dimensional spectral data are contained in files
end in '.fid' (free induction decay), '.ft2' (fourier transform), '.tab' (tab 
delineated spectral peak list), or are called 'ser'. 

Sparky files will have the form, <bmseID_molName>.sf.
